She was born in Lyon County, Minnesota, to Robert R. (1854-1926) and Anna Effie (Thomas) (1872-1947) Owens.
She married Mark Samuel Roller and spent most of her married life with him in Toms Brook and where she raised two sons, Robert S. and Richard W. Roller.
The image on the right has a mark at the top where the photographer noted which of the two images he planned to print.
