She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1948 and from F.E. Palmers Business College in 1949. At the age of 20, she was crowned Bicentennial Queen of Woodstock in October 1952.
She married John Roland Crabill of Strasburg in January 1969.
Until 1971, Christine worked for a number of local professionals including L.K. Woodward, Dr. William Humphries, Dr. William Crawford, and Dr. Harold Miller, Jr.
Christine then started working at Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock where she stayed for over 26 years until her retirement.
