Both were nurses and are seen here wearing their uniforms and nurses caps.
Virginia M. (Cooley) Shrum was born in Woodstock, the daughter of Elmer and Edna (Fogle) Cooley.
She was a 1946 graduate of Woodstock High School and then went into Nursing School. She worked at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital as a Nurse, retiring after 40 years there.
