Her parents were Charles Thomas and Elizabeth Louise (Dalke) Sollenberger of Woodstock.
She married Jack Allen Walser (from Indiana) in 1969 when she lived in Alexandria, Virginia, and Jack lived in Fort Belvoir.
Conee was a graduate of Radford College and held a Master's Degree from Indiana University.
She and her husband moved to Rushville, Indiana, in 1980. Jack was the Principal of the Junior High School and Conee was a first grade teacher at Milroy Elementary School there when she died unexpectedly.
She left behind two daughters: Christie Ann and Adrienne Ellen Walser.
