Nettie was born in Zepp to Porter and Margaret Sue (Robinson) Orndorff.
Her first husband was John Garnet Warner whom she married in 1956 at the age of 16. That marriage did not last.
A year later, in 1957, she married John Franklin Bowman, a farmer living in Maurertown. The couple had two children together.
In 1971, Nettie married Connie Carl Wetzel in Topeka, Kansas. They divorced in 1988.
Her fourth husband was Garland Elwood Mauck in 1989. At that time, both Nettie and Garland lived in Woodstock.
