View of the interior of the Virginia Restaurant located on the corner of King and Holliday Streets in Strasburg. The restaurant was a favorite meeting place for students after school and evenings.
Behind the long counter, stand two longtime employees: Neva (Brill) Clem (left) and Leota (Conner) Himelright (right).
Tables and a long soda fountain bar along one wall are pictured. Windows along the front of the business look out onto King Street.
The restaurant was originally owned by Charlie "Uncle Charlie" Brill and later managed by his nephews, C. Alvin "Buggy" and Obed Brill.
This photograph was used on page 64 of the book, "Strasburg Community Memories", by C. Douglas Cooley, published 1999.
