Photo of two separate portrait photographs of Janet Laverne (Cave) Hoover as a young woman with short styled hair.

Born in Fort Valley, Janet was the daughter of Clifton Lee and Francis Marie "Fannie" (Burner) Cave.

Her first husband was Gerald Allen Stultz. She married him him in Hagerstown, Maryland, in 1961. She worked as a legal secretary at the time. The marriage ended a few years later.

Her second husband was Dwight M. Hoover (1934-2016). She and Dwight raised two children together.

The image on the right has a mark at the top where the photographer noted which of the two images he planned to print.

He has also added the note (visible but backwards), "2 5X7" indicating the number and size of the prints he planned to make.
