Description

Photo of two separate images of Beverly Evans (Younger) Rausch as a young woman with short hair and wearing a photographer's drape.

She was the daughter of Charles and Freddie (Evans) Youngers and grew up in Edinburg.

Beverly graduated from Emory and Henry College in 1962 with a BA in English. She subsequently moved to New York City where she worked in the publishing industry and later met her husband, Andre (Andy) Heath Rausch.

They eventually moved to Falls Church, VA where they raised their two daughters. Beverly worked most of her life as a librarian at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library in Falls Church, VA.

Beverly and Andy moved in 2009 to Birmingham, Alabama, to be closer to grandchildren. She is buried in Edinburg, Virginia.
