Scan of a photograph showing the Toms Brook High School Class of 1937, which graduated on June 8th of that year. On the back row, 6th from left is Mary Frances Orndorff who later became a Home Economics teacher. Also identified in the front row is Raymond Ritenour (2nd from left), Ray Franklin Boyer (3rd from left) and Hazel RItenour (4th from left). While attending the High School in Toms Brook Ray Boyer boarded with the Beebles family, parents of the principal of the then recently closed Fort Valley High School and later the Rhodes School in Front Royal. Ray observed many years later how hot their wool graduation gowns were.
