Ann "Rainbow" Harris

Ann “Rainbow” Harris was born in Iowa and spent her early life living in Washington DC and abroad. She spoke several languages.

After graduating from Keypunch Academy in Salt Lake City, Ann went to work in a hospital. Later she became interested in preventing diseases, which led her to became a yoga instructor. Her local classes were incredibly popular.

Ann and her husband John were also members of a popular local musical ensemble. She performed folk, country, rock, and pop music throughout the Shenandoah Valley and the Washington area under the name Ann Rainbow.
