Donna was the daughter of John and Clara (Bowman) Grabill of Woodstock.
She was the second wife of George R. Crittenden, a U.S. Navy pilot and businessman. The couple lived in Chester County, Pennsylvania, for many years while raising their four sons: Dale, Bryan, R. Allan, and Jeffrey Crittenden.
Later in her life, she moved to Florida in 1997 but returned five years later to live with her son, Allan and his family.
