This image is a copy of Morrison Studio Collection number 017791.

Born in Woodstock, she was the daughter of William Luther and Mary Ellen (Gochenour) Wetzel. They lived on a farm just outside of Woodstock on property that is now owned by the town.

Before moving to Harrisonburg in 1960, she owned and operated the Stonewall Terrace Gift Shop. After she moved there, she opened the R and R Trading Post, a family restaurant, gift shop and gas station. She was also partners with Dick and Elaine Strawderman in the Double S Catering Service for many years.

She is buried in Alonzaville, Shenandoah County.
