Sadie was born in Shenandoah County and was a daughter of the late Daniel and Joanna Wolverton Hottel and married, for a time, to Eugene Kingree. She was a member of Saumsville Christian Church and was the owner and operator of Sadie's Taxi in Edinburg.
Frances was the daughter of Robert J. Lloyd and Nannie Stover. She was married for 9 years to Raymond J. Kirby and had two daughters, Betty L. and Betty A., before getting divorced in 1946. Frances was also a resident of Edinburg for most of her life.

Identified by Ernie Coffman, who remembered that Frances lived on the same street (Shenandoah Avenue) as him and that Sadie was a taxi driver who lived on Main Street in Edinburg.
