Description

Clarence Kibler, seated, with his second wife, Bessie (Finks) Kibler and his two daughters, Audrey Katherine (standing) and Gyneth posed around him.

Clarence was the son of James Kibler of the Woodstock area. Clarence was the Commissioner of Revenue for Woodstock and/or Shenandoah County at one time.

He also had a small greenhouse operation near the Woodstock town park.

Clarence was married twice. His first wife was Clara Sheetz (daughter of William and Henrietta (Sheetz) Sheetz). They married in 1907 and Audrey was their daughter. Clara died in August 1911.

His second wife was Bessie Finks who is pictured here. Her parents were John and Emma (Brown) Finks. She and Clarence married in June 1916 and had a daughter, Gyneth, born in 1918.
