The couple lived in Fort Valley.
Charles was born in New Market, the son of W.L. Johnson and Beatrice Irene Clem. He died in his early forties, of Tuberculosis.
Clara was the daughter of David M. and Delilah (Ritenour) Cave. She married Charles Johnson in about 1920 and had several children with him.
After her first husband died, Clara married again in 1942. Her second husband was Eugene H. Munch, of Fort Valley.
The name, "Johnson", is written on the glass plate.
