She is wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved, floor-length dress with lace trim and gloves. The woman is possibly Alice Fisher, his girlfriend at the time this photograph was made.
Lee Painter was a farmer and lived in Mt. Jackson. He married Ethel May Jordan in 1920 and had at least seven children.
The name, "Cantral", is written on the glass plate.
