Description

Photograph of E. Florine (Dellinger) Miller as a young mother holding her first born child, Larry Wayne Riffey.

Florine was born in Mt. Jackson, daughter of Charles Cecil and Nellie Vearl (Will) Dellinger.

She worked in the cafeteria at Woodstock Elementary School and then later became manager of the cafeteria at W.W. Robinson Elementary School.

Her first husband was Kyle Lee Riffey (1918-1950) with whom she had a son, Larry.

After her husband died, she married again to Fred Orndorff Miller, a bricklayer from Woodstock, and the son of Floyd Edgar and Louisa Newell (Funkhouser) Miller.

Larry is buried with his father, Kyle Lee Riffey, in Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock.

The name, "Mrs Carl Riffey" was written on the glass plate negative of this image.
