Portrait photograph of Anna Katharine (Hottel) Benchoff.

This photograph was used in the 1917 Massanutten Academy's yearbook, "Aggelos". She was listed as being the Sponsor of the Senate that year.

Anna Katharine was the daughter of Milton Hockman and Laura Hottel of Woodstock.

She married Guy Anderson Benchoff in 1924, and the couple worked and taught at Massanutten Military Academy (MMA) for many years together.

They also raised four children together in Woodstock: John "Jack" Milton Benchoff, Ann McCord (Benchoff) Stamm, Betty (Benchoff) Page, and Barbara Loudoun (Benchoff) Miles.
