Three additional children were born after this photograph was made.

Their father, Obed Kibler, was well-known in the rural areas because he owned and operated his own threshing machine.

Identified in 2011 by Iva Alice (Kibler) Wakeman, who is the baby in the picture. Iva was 93 years old and remembered that each time there was a new baby in the family, the family had a photograph made.
