Lois was from Woodstock, the daughter of Lester L. and Eltie (Richard) Wisman. She attended Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at Fairview and was retired from Aileen in Edinburg/Woodstock when she died.
Her husband was Jamie "Jimmy" W. Ryman. The couple raised four children together: Cynthia (Ryman) Moody, Karen (Ryman) Sigler, Stephanie (Ryman) Beaune and J. Wilson Ryman.
