Annie was the daughter of Coy and Mary Virginia (Dunne) Marley, from Wilkes County, North Carolina.
She married William Sydney Funkhouser (1909-1992) and spent most of her married life with him in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Her son, Charles, was born in Washington D.C. He married Diane Ashby but the marriage did not last. When he died, he was a veteran of the United States Navy and had retired from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a Police Officer.

Identified in 2017 by Isaac Clinton Miller, Annie's nephew. He remembered that Annie's husband, Sydney, had many siblings including Jesse Funkhouser, Lizzie (Funkhouser) Miller, Virgie (Funkhouser) Robertson, Daisy (Funkhouser) Grandstaff. All were the children of Isaac Casper Funkhouser of Jerome.
