Photo of a portrait photograph of Rosalie (Sheetz) Jennings as a young woman.

She was born in Woodstock, the daughter of Oscar Lee and Maude Odeal (Golladay) Sheetz.

She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1933 as valedictorian of her class and received a business certificate from Massanutten Military Academy.

Rosalie worked at the U.S. Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in Washington, D.C from September 1943 to October 1945.

Over the years, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper in many area businesses.

Much of her life was spent in Edinburg where she was extremely active in the community and in her church, St. Paul's United Church of Christ Church in Edinburg.

She married Richard H. Jennings and spent over 50 years with him before her death. They had a son, William R. Jennings.
