Reverend Edwin Boyd "Jack" Wolford is seated beside his wife, Blanche (Vaughn) Wolford, in the center of this photograph. They are surrounded by a large group of unidentified family and friends.

Tables with cake, punch, cups, candles and other tableware are visible in the foreground.

He was the pastor at Woodstock Christian Church located on Muhlenberg Street.

The couple had two sons, Dexter, and Jerry. The reverend and his wife are buried together in Vinton, Virginia.

Probably, this was an anniversary celebration.
