Bonnie was born in Woodstock, the daughter of Alger Ray and Goldie Vernon (Stoneburner) Sheetz.
A similar image to these was used in the 1962 Central High School yearbook. Bonnie was in the senior class that year.
Just after she graduated, she married Robert K. Burkhart, a U.S. Marine, born in Ohio, and stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
