Jean was born in Annville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James Frederick and Alice Virginia (Kline) Windle.
She was a member of the class of 1958 at New Market High School.
In 1965, she married William Clark Bauserman, the son of Martin Luther Bauserman, Sr. and Elva C. (Senseney) Bauserman of Toms Brook.
At the time, Clark was serving in the U.S. Army and Jean worked at Shenandoah Manufacturing Company.
