Barbara was the adopted daughter of Jacob and Lydia (Stout) Gochenour. She married a man named Biggs and, in the mid 1990's, lived in Round Hill, Virginia.
The 1950 census found Jacob, Lydia, and a young Charles Gochenour all living on the farm of Lily B. Stout (Lydia's mother) in the Madison District of the county. Lily was listed as the head of household and was a widow. Lily died in 1954, before this photograph was likely taken.
