Description
Group of boys and men in front of the lodge at Camp Lupton near Woodstock Virginia.
All seated individuals are campers. Individuals standing in the rear are either counselors and wear "Camp Lupton Counselors" t-shirts or staff from Massanutten Military Academy.
Standing on the back row are Guy Benchoff (second from right) and John Milton Benchoff (back row, fifth from left with blonde hair). The Benchoff family dog Taps is asleep in the foreground of the photograph. All other individuals are unidentified.
Camp Lupton was part of the Massanutten Military Academy (MMA) for many years. Now, it is the Seven Bends State Park in Woodstock.
The photographer has written "7-44" as a date on the photograph.
