Photo of two separate photographs of Martin Ritenour wearing a U.S. Army uniform and seated beside his father, Chester Ritenour. His mother, Mabel (Shiley) Ritenour, is standing behind both of them.
Martin's uniform has a shoulder patch with the letter "A" on it, probably signifying he was part of an airborne unit.
Chester Ritenour was the son of Joseph F. and Minnie (Miller) Ritenour. His wife, Mabel, was the daughter of James S. and Addie G. (Newcomer) Shiley. Chester and Mabel were married in 1935.
After Chester died, Mable married Ralph Francis Ambrose in 1981.
