Gary Troxell is in a US Army Uniform and wearing the rank of Private First Class. His uniform contains a transportation branch insignia, a regimental unit upon his shoulders, a National Defense Service Medal, and a Sharpshooter qualification badge.
The image on the left has a mark at the top where the photographer noted which of the two images he planned to print.

Gary Wayne Troxell, Cheryl Troxell, and Wilson Troxell were identified in 2026 by library staff utilizing the name written on the name tag of the soldier, identification provided by Carol Getz, and family history information obtained from the family search entry of Roy Jennings Troxell, father of the children pictured.

The little girl is Patricia Troxell Kibler. She is beside her mother, Hilda Troxell. I know she had an older brother that probably graduated from Central in the early to mid 70s I don't remember the name.
