Dear Uncle Hamilton:
Received your letter was glad to hear from you but sorry you have a cold hope you are all right now.
We all have been very sick with the Grippe and I am just walking around again feel very bad. I have a colored girl have not been able to do any thing.
Mt teeth are so bad they need to be fixed. I have six that have to come out but I cant get enough money together to have them fixed. You know what it takes to buy a house.
We have to carry all the water we use our well has gone dry. The neighbors dont like us to use there water and we cant get any one to dig our well because it is to cold.
I wish I had stayed in town where I had every thing convenent.
Eleanor and Roswell send their love to you.
Hope you are well by this time write me again soon.
With Best Regards
and Good Luck to you
Sincerely
Laura G. White
