Identified by John Adamson, who noted that Hugh Morrison had also identified him in another photograph.

On March 3, 1911, the Shenandoah Herald newspaper reported that Rev. S.W. Kuhns of Greensboro, N.C. had accepted a position at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock. This announcement was reprinted by the Free Press on September 11, 2008 (page 4).
