Description
Photograph of Carl E. Feller, Sr. a lifelong Maurertown resident, with his son, Carl Edward Jr., and his wife, Maudie (Brill) Feller, beside him.
Carl’s parents were Charles William and Lucy Catherine (Fravel) Feller. When he registered for the WWII draft, Carl listed his brother, Cecil, as his emergency contact. At that time, Carl worked for the Toms Brook Lime & Stone Company. When he died decades later, his occupation was reported as a retired stone quarry laborer.
Carl was also active in his church, Mt. Zion Lutheran, and had served as a past councilman and secretary of his Sunday School class.
Maude Golden Brill was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin (1884-1959) and Mary Catherine (Wetzel) (1888-1958) Brill.
Carl E. Feller, Jr. was the couple’s only child.
