Description

Danny Hottel as a young boy standing on a bench and facing his mother, Anna Florence (Snyder) Hottel, who is seated beside him.

Anna was the daughter of Ira James and Lelia Susan (Rudy) Hottel. She married Lester Lee Hottel.

Danny was Anna's only child. He married Virginia Elizabeth Spiker in 1947. The couple spent their lives in Woodstock and were well-known and active in the community.

The glass plate negative of this image was stored in a box labeled "Jan 1929".

Contributor

Identified in 2009 by Elaine Mowery who remembered that Danny was one of the last milk delivery men in the Woodstock area.
