Photograph of three separate portrait photographs of different people.

The two pictures on the left are unidentified. The image on the right is of Gladys Evengeline (Hottel) Fravel.

The photograph of Gladys E. (Hottel) Fravel is a copy of Morrison Studio Collection number 001628.

Gladys was the daughter of John Franklin (1868-1941), a farmer, and Cora Virginia (Wisman) Hottel (1873-1959).

She married John David Fravel (1887-1950) in Woodstock in June 1921. He was, the son of Joseph (1842-1909) and Catherine Victoria (Hottel) (1847-1892) Fravel.

In the 1930, 1940, and 1950 censuses, the couple lived with her parents in Woodstock. Her husband started out as a mechanic in his own shop, then was a repair mechanic in an Antiques shop, and, finally, listed as a carpenter in a factory.

Gladys and her husband had two daughters, Dorothy E. and Deanna M. Fravel.
