A small white house is visible on the left, while J.T. Golliday's Gulf Gas Station and two private residences further up the road can be seen on the right side of the highway. All are still standing.
A turnoff and sign point the way to Shenandoah Bathing Beach and free Picnic area.
Wyatt's Recreation Hall was located on the other side of the Gulf Station but is not visible in this image.
