The building is mostly finished, however, construction debris and tools are still visible inside the building.
The words, "New Building Housing the Shenandoah Fire Co. and its equipment on Court St., Woodstock, VA, Mar 17th 1930", are written on the image. The fire department's name would change to Woodstock Fire Department in 1931.
The men pictured are, from left to right:
Lawrence Linaweaver, James Shields Chapman, Thomas Fravel Sr., Frank Gearing, Otto Pence, Luther Sheetz, T. Grove Knicely, Raleigh Rader, Sam Hepner, Edgar Newman, James Clower, and John Lambert.
