Probably, this was a family.

Arresting image of an abandoned log cabin, probably a residence. This early structure was built using corner-notched timbered joints. Foundation and front porch are crumbling. Entire cabin has fallen into disrepair.

The name, "MIller", is written on the glass plate of this image of a young man with a child on his lap and a woman, probably his wife, seated beside him.

Probably, this was a young family.
